Thanh Hoa breaks ground on Danko The Country urban project

logo On April 12, in Luu Ve commune, Thanh Hoa province, Quang Xuong Center Investment JSC, in coordination with Danko Group, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Danko The Country urban area. The event marked the launch of a large-scale project expected to help reshape the eastern part of the province and support local socio-economic development.

Attending the ceremony were Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, former member of the Party Central Committee of Viet Nam and former Deputy Minister of Public Security; Hoang Van Lien, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee on Legal and Judicial Affairs; Nguyen Hong Phong, alternate member of the Party Central Committee of Viet Nam, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Council; Mai Xuan Liem, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; Dam Quoc Hiep, Standing Vice Chairman of Danko Group; along with representatives of central ministries and agencies and provincial departments.

Danko The Country will cover about 25 hectares and is located along a key transport corridor linking urban, tourism and industrial development areas. The site is about 10 km from the Sam Son tourism hub and offers convenient access to major industrial parks as well as education and service infrastructure in the area. These factors are expected to support property value growth and long-term development potential.

The project received investment policy approval from the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee under Decision No. 2228/QD-UBND dated June 24, 2022; investor approval under Decision No. 1398/QD-UBND dated February 27, 2023; and land allocation and land lease for Phase 1 under Decision No. 893/QD-UBND dated April 3, 2026. Completion of these key legal procedures provides the basis for the construction phase.

Under the plan, Danko The Country will feature neo-classical European architecture and is designed as an integrated, modern urban area. The project will supply 498 units, including shophouses, townhouses and villas. In addition to residential space, it will include internal amenities such as a central square, a landmark tower, a pedestrian street, green parks and an outdoor swimming pool.

Nguyen Thanh Ha, Standing Deputy General Director of Quang Xuong Center Investment JSC, said the project is being developed with a long-term and systematic approach, placing residents’ living experience at the center. The developer committed to mobilizing resources to ensure construction progress and quality, with the aim of developing a model urban area in the locality.

From a state management perspective, Mai Xuan Liem, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, said the project’s launch reflects the province’s urban development orientation set out in the Resolution of the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term. Thanh Hoa aims to develop green, smart, modern and sustainable urban areas while preserving local cultural identity.

He called on the investor and contractors to mobilize financial resources, manpower and equipment to ensure safety, quality and progress. Local authorities, particularly the Luu Ve Commune People’s Committee, were urged to continue coordinating on site clearance, maintain security and order, and facilitate construction. Relevant departments were tasked with supporting the investor in completing administrative procedures and addressing any difficulties that arise.

Following the ceremony, contractors deployed machinery and personnel to begin initial construction works, indicating the investor’s commitment to advancing the project.

With its scale, location and development orientation, Danko The Country is expected to become a new urban highlight in Thanh Hoa, contributing to improvements in the local urban landscape, enhancing living standards and helping attract investment to support local economic growth.
