Speaking at the ceremony, Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh said the past three decades reflected the close attention and guidance of leaders of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the State, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as coordination from Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and authorities in northeastern provinces. He also noted the support of the Embassy of Viet Nam in Thailand, relevant domestic agencies, the Vietnamese community, and Thai partners.

These efforts, together with the dedication of successive generations of staff, have contributed to strengthening and expanding bilateral friendship and cooperation, he said. Recalling the establishment of the Consulate General 30 years ago under the leadership of the late Deputy Minister Le Mai, Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh paid tribute to earlier generations who laid the foundation for its development. He said their contributions continue to be upheld and carried forward.
