On December 23, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Agriculture and Environment Magazine held a ceremony to announce the Decision on the establishment and to officially launch the Editorial Board of the Agriculture and Environment Journal—the peer-reviewed scientific publication within its system. The event was chaired by Mr. Phung Duc Tien, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Le, Deputy Director of the Department of Personnel and Organization, announced the Decision on the establishment of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Agriculture and Environment.
Pursuant to Decision No. 5306/QD-BNNMT dated December 16, 2025, Dr. Phung Duc Tien, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment, was appointed Chair of the Editorial Board; Dr. Dao Xuan Hung, Editor-in-Chief of the Agriculture and Environment Magazne, was appointed Vice Chair and Secretary General of the Editorial Board, together with 36 members who are scientists and managers with extensive expertise and experience.

The ceremony recorded numerous constructive contributions from delegates, aiming to further enhance the quality of the Journal of Agriculture and Environment in the new development phase.
Associate Professor, PhD Bui Ba Bong, Chairman of the Vietnam Rice Industry Association, congratulated the launch of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Agriculture and Environment. He proposed strengthening academic specialization and promoting the internationalization of the scientific journalMr. Nguyen Van Long, Director General of the Department of Science and Technology, highly appreciated the outstanding and exemplary achievements of the Journal of Agriculture and Environment. On 15-16 July 2025 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Viet Nam, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), convened the High-Level Inter-regional Knowledge Exchange on One Country One Priority Product (OCOP) Models. The event brought together agriculture ministers and senior officials from 17 African and Asian countries. As host and model-sharing country, Viet Nam presented its “One Commune One Product” (OCOP) program as a successful example of community-driven rural development, innovation, and product branding — inspiring interregional cooperation in agrifood systems transformation.
On July 3 in Hanoi, the Agriculture and Environment Magazine, led by Editor-in-Chief Dr. Dao Xuan Hung, paid an official visit to the Institute for Women Entrepreneurs Development International (IWEDI) for a working session aimed at formalizing a strategic partnership.
On June 7, 2025, the Agriculture and Environment Magazine (under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) launched a program in Hai Ninh commune, Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province to build a charity house for a disadvantaged family and to donate water tanks to local fishermen who make their living from offshore fishing.
The 'Green pagoda' program, initiated by the Agriculture and Environment Magazine (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), was held on June 7 at Linh Son Dai Phuc pagoda, Van Ninh commune, Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province. The event was part of a series of activities celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press and responding to Vietnam Sea and Islands Week 2025, World Environment Day (June 5), and World Oceans Day (June 8).
On April 9 in Hanoi, the International Women Entrepreneurs Council (IWEC) hosted its “Entrepreneurs’ coffee” event under the theme “Independent women, empowered for happiness.” The gathering served as a space for connection, sharing, and spreading a message of positive living.
