On July 2, in Thanh Hoa province, the Standing Board of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee held a training conference to update new knowledge for provincial leaders and managers for the second quarter of 2024. The focus of the conference was on "Key new points of the 2024 Land Law," conducted through a combination of in-person and online formats. Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Le Minh Ngan attended and presented the key contents of the topic.
On June 28th, at the specialized conference titled "Key updates and important provisions of the 2024 Land Law" held in Hai Phong City, Deputy Minister Le Minh Ngan urged the Hai Phong City People's Committee to direct relevant agencies to swiftly develop guiding documents as mandated by the 2024 Land Law. This initiative aims to establish a comprehensive legal framework, ensuring a conducive environment for the city's socio-economic development, as well as safeguarding national defense and security when the National Assembly approves the early enforcement of the law (anticipated on August 1, 2024).
On June 26, the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City organized a specialized conference titled ‘Key updates to the 2024 Land Law’ for the city's core cadre at all levels. Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Nguyen Ho Hai, presided over the conference, with Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Le Minh Ngan attending and directly reporting on the specialized content.
As of August 1, 2024, a series of economic-related policies, including the Land Law, the Housing Law, the Real Estate Business Law, the Law on Credit Institutions, and various decrees, have officially come into effect. These policies are now in force as of August 7, 2024.
On June 25th, the Thua Thien Hue provincial People's Committee organized a conference to disseminate and train on the 2024 Land Law, addressing difficulties and challenges in the land sector. The conference was presided over by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Le Minh Ngan.
On May 23, the People's Committee of Da Nang City organized a conference to disseminate and provide training on the 2024 Land Law and to address challenges related to land management within the city.
A training conference to disseminate the new points of the 2024 Land Law and Decree No. 12/2024/ND-CP, dated February 5, 2024, by the Government, was organized by the People's Committee of Ha Nam Province on May 17 in Phu Ly City, Ha Nam Province. The conference was held both in person and online, with nearly 130 connection points. Attendees included Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Le Minh Ngan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Truong Quoc Huy.
On April 24th in Hanoi, the Party Central Committee's Commission for Popularisation and Education, in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, organized a conference on the education and popularization of the 2024 Land Law for national central-level policy disseminators. The conference was co-chaired by Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education Phan Xuan Thuy, and Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Le Minh Ngan.
On July 18, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh received Italian Ambassador Marco Della Seta. Both sides expressed their hope to deepen and broaden their cooperation in the field of resources and environment.
On July 17, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) held a conference to review the first half of 2024 and outline tasks for the second half of the year. The conference was chaired by Mr. Dang Quoc Khanh, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and Minister of MONRE.
On July 2, 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck Soo witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in establishing an eco-industrial park project between the Vietnamese Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the South Korean Ministry of Environment, represented by Minister Dang Quoc Khanh and Minister Han Wha-jin.
As part of the Vietnam-Korea environmental conference, Minister Dang Quoc Khanh visited the Cheonggyecheon stream—a symbol of Seoul's efforts to "revive the dead river".
During the 16th Vietnam-Korea Environmental Ministers' Meeting, Vietnam's Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Dang Quoc Khanh, and South Korea's Minister of Environment, Han Wha-jin, reached an agreement to implement comprehensive cooperation between the two ministries in the environmental sector.

On June 24, Minister Dang Quoc Khanh met with Mr. Jung Heon Chul, Vice Chairman of Abe Invest Group, along with a delegation visiting the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) to discuss wastewater treatment and the application of science and technology in environmental protection.
On June 20, the first online meeting of the Vietnam - South Korea Joint Working Group on Climate Change Cooperation was held. The meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Envitonment of Vietnam Le Cong Thanh and Ms. Hyoeun Jenny Kim, Ambassador and Deputy Minister for Climate Change in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
