On September 11, 2024, a delegation from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), led by Deputy Minister Le Minh Ngan, inspected a coastal erosion prevention project at Con Nhan in Ba Tri district, Ben Tre province. Accompanying the delegation were Acting Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Ben Tre province Ho Thi Hoang Yen, along with representatives from the Provincial People's Committee and various provincial departments and agencies.

In response to World Environment Day (June 5) and World Oceans Day (June 8), the debut music video (MV) "Rung khoc" by young singer Cao Phu Quy was launched on the evening of June 5, 2024, at Softwater Garden, Hanoi. The MV carries a message urging the younger generation and Vietnamese youth to join hands in protecting forests.

The "MUFG Green Day" event took place at Ba Vi National Park in Minh Quang commune, Ba Vi district, Hanoi, which was organized by the Centre for Natural Resources and Environment Communication under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) in collaboration with MUFG Bank to celebrate World Environment Day 2024.

On June 4, 2024, in Hanoi, the Resource and Environment Magazine (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) organized the 3rd Environment Forum 2024, with the theme: “Household solid waste management and the role of businesses”. This forum is an annual event dedicated to commemorating World Environment Day on June 5.

Under the theme "Vietnamese Press - Pioneering, Innovation for the Revolutionary Cause of the Party and the People”, the 2024 National Press Festival, for the first time held in Ho Chi Minh City, not only highlighted the professionalism and modernity of the press but also honored the diligent and creative achievements of journalists towards the revolutionary press of Vietnam.

Recently, Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Đặng Quốc Khánh, participated with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Natural Resources and Environment Magazine signed a cooperation agreement with Gyeongnam Maeil Daily (Korea)

In commemoration of the 92nd anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2023), the 64th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam's fisheries sector (April 1, 1959 - April 1, 2023), and by the teachings of Uncle Ho: 'Our silver sea is managed by our people,' across coastal provinces nationwide, various levels of government, departments, and teams have organized ceremonies to release marine fingerlings into the sea. This initiative aims to restore and regenerate marine resources and clean up coastal litter.

On the morning of April 21, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Natural Resources and Environment magazine and 12 other magazines organized a forum and signed a competition agreement titled "Building a Cultural Environment in press agencies and the Culture of journalists in Vietnam 2023."
