Recently, Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Đặng Quốc Khánh, participated with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
On September 22, in Colombia, on behalf of the Government of Vietnam, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Đặng Quốc Khánh attended the Summit Conference of the Partnership Forum for Green Growth and Global Goals 2030 (P4G) with the theme "Partnership for Sustainability Transformation."
On June 4, 2023, in Nghe An, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment coordinated with the People's Committee of Nghe An province to organize the National Launching Ceremony of Vietnam Seas and Islands Week, Action Month for the Environment in response to World Environment Day, World Ocean Day. On the morning of February 16th, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Mineral Authority reported to Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Tran Quy Kien, on the implementation of the draft "Decree amending and supplementing some provisions of Decrees detailing the Mineral Law."
On March 15, 2023, the National Assembly Standing Committee convened and provided feedback on the draft Water Resources Law amendment during its 21st session, as indicated in Announcement No. 2127/TB-TTKQH.

Recently, in Hanoi, the Faculty of Land Management at Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment organized a workshop to provide feedback on the draft Land Law 2013 (Amendment). Dr. Pham Anh Tuan, Head of the Faculty of Land Management, chaired the workshop.
"The establishment of the national marine spatial planning is a difficult and complex task, being carried out for the first time in Vietnam. Therefore, seeking opinions from relevant agencies, experts, scientists, and administrators is considered as a way to 'pave the way' for overcoming obstacles to ensure the quality of planning and to achieve a high level of consensus throughout society."
